| Doctor May received his dental training at Northwestern University
Dental School. He was subsequently accepted into a one year
residency in Anesthesia at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and then
returned to Northwestern University to complete his surgical training in
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
After his graduation in 1991, he joined the faculty at the University
of Chicago, where he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Surgery and the Department of Pediatrics. He has lectured
extensively both nationally and internationally, and has participated in
humanitarian efforts in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. |

| He began his practice in the Red River Valley in 1999, and in
addition to the general practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, his
interests include orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint
reconstruction, dental implant surgery, and mandibular reconstruction of
post-radiation injuries.
Dr. May is a Diplomat of the
American
Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Board Certified) and a
member of the American Association of
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the
American Dental Association.
He has two sons, Harrison and Conor. He enjoys spending time
with them, weight lifting, and wood
